The old ways still linger in certain parts of the English countryside. None more so than in the depths of the Suffolk wilds. Among the fields, farmlands and forests the past whispers its old and varied way of life. It survived from the days of the Angles right through to this modern era.

I created this website for those wishing to know and understand the authentic world of the old country. The accurate way of speaking the old dialect and true accent from those that know it best, those with the lived experience of people like myself that were brought up to speak the old way.

There are tales to tell, old ancient ways of lore and belief systems that have been passed from generation to generation, as they were indeed to taught to me. Way before the days of modern technology, word of mouth was everything.

Within this website I will be sharing everything my ancestors knew and were taught, and that I was in turn told too. The old language, old rural country ways, the beliefs and folklore, and the tales of its people from long ago and the ghosts that still roam within the darkness of the moonlit countryside.
